My Lego® Train Stuff

Some trains and related things built out of Lego elements.
All of the items below went with the NALUG delegation to Supertrain 2001, a Calgary model railroading show in February.

Check out the post-show report (with links to pictures).

Some of my stuff was bodged together in something of a hurry, so there's one or two colour inconsistencies and some of the stickers are in need of replacement. Despite that though, the concept is still conveyed.

Since this page was first created, my train has participated in several shows. The locomotive has been updated with a Digital Command Control decoder, and I'm working on a twin. I've also added several more cars to the collection.

Two boxcars. Yellow one and its twin will soon be re-lettered for RailBox.
The Mathis Glider style boxcar door. (Designed by James Mathis)
Closer view of the Caboose. The red on the door needs removal.
Another angle. CPRail lettering is far too large... will replace eventually.
Flatcar with a load you don't see every day.....
Pair of open-top hoppers.Side rib design generally credited to Larry P.
Too big for ore, too small for coal, but they still 'feel right' somehow.
Pair of large tank cars. Soon to change to Procor lettering.
