Notes about this item. A Kyosho 1/8-scale offroad buggy shell. The black field, while it doesn't show up at all in studio photography, is painted in Candy Black, with a metalflake backing. I lost count of how many coats of Candy there are somewhere around fifteen. (This is why the Price Code is so high; due to the time involved in so many coats.) In bright light, the black carries some depth and almost has some colour to it. The safety webbing in the sunroof is at the request of the client, and while it doesn't show well in the photo, it does have four rings painted in to justify its presence, "suspending" it so to speak. |
